TBI is a Technology Incubator of repute providing a platform for
supporting Technocrats to become successful Entrepreneurs by providing
total support and mentoring during their establishment sustenance
and growth. The Directors are experienced in developing Science
and Technology Entrepreneurs Park and Incubators and have evolved
several models to successfully mentor entrepreneurs to reach their
goal of becoming successful entrepreneurs. A unique Innovation
fund is being managed by providing Idea Stage funding with a provision
for scale up funding increasing the success rate. Further it has
entered into an MOU with University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC)
UCSC and eHealth TBI have reached agreement on the following areas
of collaboration:

Joint technology entrepreneurship development initiatives
• Entrepreneurship development exchange programs
• Exchange of best practices
• Joint research and development of global entrepreneurship
initiatives.
• Seminars and conferences
• Entrepreneurs linkages and joint mentoring
• Providing opportunities for start-up to establish their
operation in Special Economic Zones (SEZ), enhancing their growth
potential and facilitating collaborative research.
• Each incubator will provide opportunity for startup to
have linkages to utilize the infrastructure in each of the TBIs
and also support linkages between startups of each TBIs
• Provided access to mentors in Silicon valley and also
access to Venture Capital firms and Angel Investors in the valley
The Center has full time management team that has extensive experience
in entrepreneurship, product development, and marketing, securing
venture capital funding and organizational development. In addition
to this, an advisory board consisting of eminent academicians
and expert professionals from diverse industries guide the incubatees.
One of the Director is a Charter member of TiE – The Indus
Entrepreneurs Bangalore providing access to Venture capital firms
and Angel Investors.
